First off I appreciate your interest in the sport of Tennis. We all need to do our part to further this historical game.

Now let me answer all your questions.

To call him “very marginal American tennis player” is ridiculous. He is the #1 ranked American and has been for a while now. Please find me another tennis player that has gone to 3 Grand Slam finals in the past 3 years other then Nadal and Federer. You can’t! Yes, he lost all 3 to Roger (the best tennis player to ever play the game) His career record is 436-136, SPARE? Hell no! he led the US to a Davis Cup win in 2007. Will he ever beat Nadal, maybe not. Will he ever beat Federer, probably not. But he has been the face of American Tennis since 2003, and been very successful. He has not been great in Grand Slams but he has been better than anyone other than the top 2 since he was ranked #1 in 2003. The funny thing is everyone heres about the upsets in the Grand Slams, but they don’t talk about the hundreds of wins throughout the entire season. Now enough about his resume on the court. Oh and to be factual Andy”s #1 ranking in 2003 was when Roger was very good, Roger won Wimbledon in 2003. Although I know it wasn’t during Rogers height of success.

Why is Eric a Fan of Andy Roddick?

He is American, and even more than that, born in Austin and has resided in Austin Texas for many years now.

He is the hardest serving player to ever play the game, and for some reason that’s awesome. I know it’s about championships, but its kinda cool to win a pissing contest as well.

Now to the good stuff. Not only am I a fan I envy his life. You guys might wanna trade lifes with Jeter, or Brady or Namath. I would switch with Andy Roddick.

Also for a guy thats a super star in his Sport, I guess I feel like he can hang out with the common man and not act like a rich idiot.

Lastly, it does suck to watch him struggle and play bad. Although, his career has followed like a soap opera, and that’s more entertaining that Nadal flexing or Federer’s winning. From the number 1 to dropping out of the top 25, from Jimmy Connors being his Coach to now his brother, his Journey has been fun. I hope he can gets to the mountain top again since he is only 25 years of age. Oh and FYI, we share the same Birthday, August 30th.

So the T Bro’s have given me hell ever since I created the “There can be only one” promos for everyone else on the live team.  The truth is Rob’s taped session was on my computer that crashed, and was being fixed my HP.  So needless to say HP did their job and got it back to me.  So I did my job.  Enjoy!

I moved yesterday to Downtown Orlando.  I am very excited about being able to stumble back to my house, or to Bower’s Mansion in Thorton Park.  Do to stalking on FP’s behalf I can not post the picture or my address.  FP please stop with the cut out letter notes to the EA Studios.  jk Pictures and more stories about the move that included Bower, Sweet Nasty and myself.  Lets just say that by the end of the move the 3 of us were trying to layout my house like we just got done watching hours of HGTV.  And let me speak for myself, that is all I have watched lately.  But Bower should be the new host of Trading Spaces
