Bower joined the EA SPORTS GameShow team as its first full-time host. Prior to moving to Orlando, Bower spent more than 2 years with Sirius Satellite Radio on the Maxim Channel, as both afternoon drive and mid-day host. Prior to Sirius, Bower’s stops include KCXX in San Bernadino as morning host and sports talk in Detroit on WDFN. When he’s not entertaining GameShow players, you’ll find him performing at stand-up comedy clubs.
Yes, they are in fact brothers (Rob is older by four years). They have been the radio "Thompson Brothers" since 1995 when they began their Sport's Talk career at KTKR 760 "The Ticket" in San Antonio. Originally the hosts of the cult classic "Hard Core Sports" in San Antonio for many years in 2003 they hosted "Prime Time San Antonio" on the blow torch 1200 WOAI where they covered politics, both local and national and…."other stuff" as they say as well as covering the San Antonio Spurs on a couple of championship runs. They have been nationally syndicated on Fox Sports Radio where they still serve as back-up hosts for virtually every show and are still the hosts of "The Fox Fantasy Geeks" on FSR during the NFL season.
I’m a live producer with EA GameShow. I came to Orlando, Fla., via the Lone Star State. I’m a graduate of the University of North Texas. I’m a diehard fan of everything TEXAS! I’ve been a producer, board op, reporter, and failed high school athlete. The first well-known athlete I interviewed was Brett Hull. When I’m live on GameShow, I go by the nickname “E.” I like to keep our legal department busy while doing sessions with host Mike Bower. When I’m not boring you to tears on GameShow, I’m hitting tennis balls out of play, letting my dog poo in other people’s yards, and watching my favorite Dallas sports franchises choke.
Scott has dedicated his life to finding out just how many ways he can ask "Who holds the record for most home runs in a single-season?" before people start complaining. You could call him GameShow's resident baseball expert, but that doesn't mean he shies away from other sports. You can bet that if GameShow needs questions about Secretariat or the 1930 FIFA World Cup champions from Uruguay, he's your man. Basketball on the other hand? Yeah, not so much.
My job as a writer/researcher with EA GameShow provides me with the perfect trifecta: sports, writing, and videogames. I graduated from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.
Paul does it all for GameShow. He’s a producer, writer, and host, which fits his background perfectly. A native Oregonian, Paul has worked as a news and sports anchor and reporter, talk show host, executive producer, and just about any other radio position you can think of. Paul’s encyclopedic knowledge of both sports and pop culture should make GameShow players happy that he works for us, instead of being out there competing against them.
Given his background on television, it’s no wonder Chris keeps asking us where the studio webcam is. Chris has been a television sports anchor, play-by-play announcer and reporter. In addition to his sports work, Chris has an acting bug that has landed him roles on stage and in television and film. For EA SPORTS GameShow, Chris brings an energy, and a love for the Red Sox and Patriots, that is hard to match. Chris and his wife are expecting their first child in March.
Nate is GameShow’s Program Director, so every now and then you find him placing his own name on the evening’s GameShow host schedule. Nate has worked in radio since the age of 16, and spent 8 years as a News/Talk/Sports Program Director for Clear Channel before joining EA. He has hosted local and national talk shows, provided football and basketball play-by-play, and even was a Top 40 DJ for a short time in college.
A natural radio talent, Jana has also lived the radio life. Some call radio “the military of broadcasting” since most radio talent have lived all over the country. Jana’s tour of duty includes Kansas City, Nashville, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Charleston, Augusta and Orlando. When she’s not kicking around the boys of GameShow, you’ll find her on air with XL 106.7 in Orlando. She’s a big Tar Heels fan, loves celebrity gossip, and is truly the one in charge around here.
Carlos Navarro is one of the newest members of the GameShow family. He is a DIEHARD Orlando Magic Fan who has over 10 years of National talk radio experience. He is also an actor who has had parts in numerous national commercials; and has had parts on the hit TV show Prison Break as well as several different feature film roles. He is a happily married man with two, crazy, little dogs.
